About Us

MEET DR. SCHAIK

I believe in giving people a beautiful healthy smile and building lasting relationships with my patients. I understand the value of early dental health as a foundation for a healthy, lifelong smile. I treat my patients with the utmost respect and with the best possible care. My patients are my highest priority.

I completed my undergraduate education at Northern Illinois University in 1987. In 1991, I received my dental doctorate degree from Loyola University in Maywood, Illinois. In 1995, after gaining five years of experience working for other dentists, I and my husband, Dr. Musso, opened Walden Square Dental Care with the hope of providing comprehensive family dental care in a professional and comfortable environment.

Staying current with the latest technological advancements is a priority for me. I have been a member of the American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society and I have a strong belief in excellence through continuing education. I attend numerous advanced dental education seminars through which I stay current with the latest advance in dentistry so that I can provide each patient with the best possible care.

I live in Grayslake, IL, with my two daughters. I am active in my community and I am a member of the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce.

I joined Dr. Schaik’s practice in April of 2022. I have been in the field of Dentistry for almost twenty years in various positions. I enjoy working the Front Office, meeting all of you and helping you in any way I can. Happy Patients are my goal.

I joined the wonderful team at Walden Square Dental Care in October of 2022. I have enjoyed working in the dental field with patients of all ages for many years! It has been my pleasure getting to know all of our patients while helping to make things run smoothly at the Front Desk.
